What if I have a question about auditions?

Are auditions mandatory?
Yes, Auditions are mandatory with the exception of Level I courses in Dance and Theatre.
They serve as an evaluative process for us to be able to place the students in the proper level class.
Is Theatre I mandatory for theatre students?
Yes, it is a pre-requisite for advanced level courses and for certification.
If I would like to take a level 1 dance course, do I need to audition?
No, all level one courses do not require an audition.
Does dance count for Physical Education?
Yes, many students at Santa Susana take Dance to meet their PE requirement.
What are the sign-up links for each department?
They should all be located at the bottom of their respective pages.
If I am auditioning for Musical Theatre, do I need to learn both dances?
Yes, if you are auditioning for Musical Theatre you must learn both, Dance 1 and Dance 2, prior to March 8th.
